Award-winning documentary filmmaker Ted Braun (Darfur Now) will kick off Global Nomads first two-part PULSE videoconference for the 2008-2009 school year. Ted Braun spent four months in Darfur filming Darfur Now, an incredible documentary that follows the lives of six individuals helping to end the crisis in Darfur including Oscar nominated actor Don Cheadle (Hotel Rwanda) and Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC) Luis Moreno-Ocampo. In this two-part series, we will talk about the current situation in Darfur. On Thursday, September 18 Ted Braun will join GNG to speak of his first-hand experience on the conflict in Darfur.
