ESC Region 11 Distance Learning Conference
May 13, 2008
Just got this message from our friends in Ft. Worth. The ESC Region XI Distance Learning Educator Conference scheduled for October 15, 2008.
Call for Proposals - Please plan to present one of your outstanding projects in distance learning (we include ALL types of DL….IVC, online learning, Web 2.0, etc.) or encourage your go-getting, on-the-bleeding-edge districts to share what they are doing and how they got there! Remember that we all still have the “newbies” that are hungry to see how this all works, and for ideas on how they can better utilize the technology they have. Click here to go to the CFP. Presentations can also be conducted via videoconferencing. This is a great opportunity to practice your 2009 TCEA or TxDLA presentations!
Registration - We are inviting everyone to come to Fort Worth to visit with our Region XI districts. If you can attend, please register for this FREE event in order for us to get an accurate count for lunch. Click here to go to the registration page. To recap - it’s FREE, and lunch is included!
Exhibitors - We can continue to offer this for free as long as we can continue to bring in exhibitors and sponsors. This summer and fall, as you are visiting with vendors and discussing technology solutions, encourage them to exhibit at the Region XI conference. With almost 300 attendees, they get a lot of “bang for their buck!” They can get the registration information and forms at the conference website or click here.
The conference website link can be found at http://www.esc11.net/dlconference.
