Texas History Mystery
February 6, 2008
Yes, it is our good friends Angela Conrad and Paige Parker from Humble ISD at it again. They will be showcasing Texas History Mystery and all cool vc stuff going on in their district.
Session Description:
Lean how fourth and seventh grade classes across the state are connecting with one another through videoconferencing to share and solve mystery presentations about Texas’ rich past.
Angela and Paige’s session is about 45 minutes. She begins by going in depth in the Texas History Mystery and then sharing their other projects.
- Monster Exchange
- Holiday Customs Around the World
- 100th Day of School
- Singing With Shane (Yes, Shane, she even added your logo!)
- Field Trip Fridays
- Student created project with FFA students and elementary students (This is at the end of the stream. Fast forward to check it out.)
This is my first experiment with ustream.tv and I had trouble with getting the camera working with the browser. It did not like Firefox and I had to switch to IE and then for some reason the camera would not be recognized.
The audio is okay. The video is waaayyyy bad, but I did dial down the video quality to save bandwidth. Yes, I know that my coughing is loud. I was taking my medication and I even had cough drops!
