Google Docs: Help Center and Blog

Date February 19, 2008

I know that many of you who read this blog also use Google Docs to support vc projects. We are in the beginning phases of testing Google Forms. (Yes, that means that we will play with it for a couple of days and then start using it with projects!)

Some issues that we have run into so far:

  1. Shane got a pop-up window that said he could only have 100 rows and would he like a new worksheet. He found a tiny plus at the bottom left and added 100 rows and his is now working again.
  2. Debra is loving her TETN sign-in sheet form where she can document remote sites and number of attendees.
  3. The Weather With Rusty registration had to be rebuilt because we created the form and then cut/paste the columns in the spreadsheet. That will break the link between the form and the spreadsheet.
  4. We have docs on our domain and I can’t publish the form and get it working without prompting users for a login.

Here is the online help center. Be sure to subscribe to the Google Docs Blog, too.
