“Would you please remind all participants to turn off their cell phones during the videoconference?”

Yes, that is the repeated statement from the TETN office. I have heard different explanations from the vendors–usually one of them saying that it is the other one’s equipment that allows the interference. You know how it is in VC Land, each manufacturer says their stuff is perfect! ;P

Anyway…look what popped up in my Google alert. It is from a physicist, Gordon Watts, University of Washington. He has a trick to keep the GSM phones from interfering with speakers. Yes, we will have to test this.
