RUS Grant: Getting Ready

Date December 5, 2007

October, November and now December have been such a blur. Now that I have completely washed off all the “monster make-up” and am running the Holiday Extravaganza, I realize that I have forgotten to tell everyone about a HUGE announcement for our network.

We were awarded a RUS grant and will be upgrading some equipment at the core as well as putting about 30 more endpoints in the field. Woo-Hoo! and I don’t mean that “woo-hoo” in the Dilbert sense either! :-)

Actually, Mr. Santa attended an audioconference this morning to get the complete details for us. We will keep you posted.

Congratulations!!! A RUS grant is a lot of work but a great opportunity for your districts. Good for you!
