Blurb and The Blog Slurper
March 23, 2007
Ran across an article in the paper yesterday about an on-demand publishing site, blurb.com, and how you can make bookstore quality books at a reasonable price. It is not a site for publishing novels like lulu.com, but books with more pictures, like Shutterfly books.
- Schools could use this as a fundraiser…publish an awesome book of all the amazing experiences that students have had with video conferencing and then sell copies to parents and use the money from the sales to fund more video conference programs the next year!
All that is interesting to me, but “The Blog Slurper” was the coolest. On blurb.com, you can download this software that will “slurp” your blog and then you can publish it as a book. This is great, now we can make blogs into books, so that the people who are afraid of technology can read about all the awesome stuff we are doing for students around the planet.
(Thanks to Shane for the new photo galleries on the EDLINK12 site.)

Now that is just too cool. Now I want to have a blog so it can get “slurped” too!
