Email Signature for Collaborations

Janine and I met today to plan follow-up and support for “The Coolest Videoconference Training Ever”. We worked to create a spreadsheet of all the participants’ contact information and discussed how to teach our building coordinators how to manage these projects. This will be an amazing opportunity for our students and teachers.
One thing that is helpful if you are getting started in collaboration with others is to have a complete signature file in your email.
The following information is helpful to include:
- Name
- Address
- City, State, Zip
- Email Address
- Phone
- Web (Optional)
- Blog (Optional)
Update those signatures!

Yes yes yes!! How annoying it is to get an email without a signature and wonder who it is and how they fit in. Along these lines, my other pet peeve is not keeping the “email trail”. Those email programs that strip out the history of previous messages. It’s so frustrating to have a bunch of collaborations going and get an email related to one that you can’t remember/find the history!
